Han Pieck Bambi chair rare Dutch Design

Rare and iconic Dutch plywood chair model BAMBI, designed by Han Pieck, The Netherlands 1945-1946 produced by Morris & Co. Since there was no Dutch furniture manufacturer who was able to produce this chair at the time (1946) - due to the difficult and expensive production process from single sheets of plywood- Pieck had the chair produced by Morris & Co from 1948 in Glasgow UK. Only 200 pieces of these chairs were produced. A true museum piece! In very good original condition with a warm patine. Han Pieck designed both the LaWo chair and this Bambi chair. Both are made out of one piece of plywood.
