Daybed sofa designed by Marin Visser for ’t Spectrum, the Netherlands, ca. 1958. Three seater daybed sofa. Martin Visser began working for Spectrum in 1954 as designer and head of collection. The characteristics of simplicity, functionality and the preoccupation with geometry of the Dutch mid-century aesthetic are all represented in the sofa. Fully restored with new foam on the inside and reupholstered with spectacular fabric Abstract Malachite designed by Christian Lacroix. The sofa is adjustable, extends into partial sofa bed. The beautiful geometric fabric underlines the character of the minimalist design of the sofa. Haute couture eye catcher!
