Wim Rietveld storage cabinet for Gispen

Colorful Industrial metal storage cabinet Model 663-2 designed by Wim Rietveld for Gispen, the Netherlands 1954. This cabinet would be suitable as a storage unit or bookcase and would be perfect to use as a room devider.
This cabinet comes with three cases. A black, yellow and red, with a grey enameled metal frame.

The design reminds of the works of modernist Dutch "De Stijl" artists like Gerrit Rietveld (Wim Rietvelds father) and Piet Mondrian. The cabinet is complete with all grey shelves. The grey shelves have recently been restored.
Rietveld won a Diploma d'Onore for this design at the 10th Triennale in Milan. The cabinet is in original condition with some rust and wear to enamel consistent with age and use. The grey shelves have recently been restored.
