Fabricius and Kastholm two-seat sofa for Bo-Ex, Denmark 1962

High quality two-seat sofa model BO562 in brushed steel and black leather, designed by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm, manufactured by Bo-Ex, Denmark, 1962.
Designed in 1962, this BO562 lounge chair remains an extraordinary modern and minimalistic piece. The shape of the seat gets beautifully repeated in the brushed aluminium base of the sofa and gives the sofa it’s open feel and minimalistic appearance.
The sofa has great seating comfort from the down filled cushions that support the body in a great way. The high quality, soft and patinated leather is still in very good and sustainable condition. Linen upholstery below the cushions is clean. The brushed steel frame is in perfect condition.

Unlike most of the furniture design by Danish designer duo Kastholm and Fabricius, this sofa was produced in Denmark by Bo-Ex. Most of the furniture designs by Danish designer duo Kastholm and Fabricius was produced by Kill International, a German furniture manufacturer.
