Fabricius and Kastholm lounge chair for Bo-Ex, Denmark 1962

Lounge chair model BO561 in brushed steel and black leather, designed by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm, manufactured by Bo-Ex, Denmark 1962.

Designed in 1962, this BO561 lounge chair remains an extraordinary modern and desirable piece. The shape of the seat gets beautifully repeated in the brushed aluminium base of the chair and gives the chair it’s open feel and minimalistic appearance.
The chair has great seating comfort from the down filled cushions that support the body in a great way. The soft and patinated leather is still in very good condition. Linen upholstery below the cushions is clean. The brushed steel frame is in perfect condition.

Unlike most of the furniture design by Danish designer duo Kastholm and Fabricius, this lounge chair was produced in Denmark by Bo-Ex. Most of the furniture designs by Danish designer duo Kastholm and Fabricius was produced by Kill International, a German furniture manufacturer. Matching two-seat sofa model BO562 available.
