Wim Den Boon XXL executive desk 1960

Important and unique executive desk by Dutch architect Wim Den Boon, the Netherlands 1960. Like most of Wim Den Boon’s work, this stunning monumental desk is a unique piece, designed in commission of his client. The desk, complete with matching lounge chairs, desk chair and storage unit was designed in 1960 for an office of a client in The Hague. The design is registered and documented in the Dutch National Architecture Institute (NAI).
A copy of the original drawing 03-43 from Wim den Boons archive Wim Den Boon is available.

This very large desk is made of solid wenge wood, the top is covered with the original skai leather which is still in amazing condition. The three drawers are hidden and contribute to the Minimalist character of the desk. The desk is based on three solid wenge wooden conic feet, which offer the desk it’s monumental appearance. A true museum piece in perfect original condition.
