Hans Kaufeld rocking chair, Germany ca. 1970

Rare rocking chair designed by Hans Kaufeld, Germany, circa 1970. Beautiful lounge chair with original soft black leather cover with a beautiful patina. The sculptural frame of the chair is made of brushed aluminium and finished with beautiful details. The leather cover is attached to the frame with saddle leather straps by buttons. Straps are all original except for one strap under the seat that has been renewed. Very comfortable chair in very good condition with only minor traces of wear consistent with age and use.
