Maija Liisa Komulainen Cantharel table lamp for RAAK, The Netherlands ca. 1970

Superb “Cantharel” table lamp designed by Maija Liisa Komulainen for RAAK Amsterdam, circa 1970. It may be obvious the name of the lamp refers to the “Cantharel” mushroom. This rare table lamp with it’s amazing shape and size has nine-light sources and is a beautiful object from all sides. When lit, the lamp spreads a beautiful warm glow on each of the nine copper colored hoods and into the room. Regarding its age, the lamp is in excellent vintage condition with minimal scratches on the surface of the copper colored aluminium. One hood has a small dent. Marked with manufacturers label.
