A perfect pair of velvet upholstered Groovy chairs, or model F598 chairs, designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort, The Netherlands 1973.
This sculptural pair of lounge chairs has been delicately upholstered in a grey/black velvet which strenghtens the curvy shape of the chairs. Like all iconic undulating chairs designed by Pierre Paulin -such as the Ribbon- and ABCD-chair-, the Groovy chair supports the body in a very comfortable way.
This pair of chairs with black aluminium feet date from the 1970’s and both chairs are marked with manufacturers label.
