Scandinavian birch daybed ca. 1950

Scandinavian Minimalist birch wood daybed in the style of Jens Risom and Klaus Grabe. This beautiful and sleek daybed features black webbing which creates a great graphic patterned outline of the bed. The daybed has recently been upholstered with a newly made white linen cushion, which is nicely buttoned. It creates a great contrast with the black webbing and the birch wooden base of the bed. Matching neck roll cushion. The piece has nice wood joints. The piece has quite small dimensions, it’s only 70 cm in width and it can be used in a variety of ways in virtually any modern environment.
