Sergio Rodrigues Kilin chair for Oca, Brazil 1967

Beautiful Brazilian solid Imbuia (a type of tropical walnut timber) wooden and leather Kilin armchair designed by Sergio Rodrigues for Oca, Brazil 1967. The design of exceptional lounge chair was inspired by tropical hammocks and Campaign furniture. This version with brass bolts was produced by Oca Brazil Sergio Rodriguez’s own company) for the European market, circa 1973. The original and nicely aged leather sling seat has a great patina and looks beautiful in contrast with the warm Imbuia wooden frame. The frame of the chair is in excellent restored condition, recently finished with a UV- and water protective lacquer.
