Severin Hansen Jr. writing desk for Haslev, Denmark circa 1958

Rare freestanding desk designed by Severin Hansen Jr. for Haslev Møbelsnedkeri, Denmark circa 1958.
This stylish writing table is executed in rosewood and has been made with excellent Danish furniture makers’ craftsmanship. The desk is executed with four integrated drawers with brass locks and refined brass keyholes. The original key fits on every lock. With it’s beautiful wood-joints, tapered legs and refined details, this desk is one of the most beautiful examples of classic iconic Scandinavian furniture design from the 1950s. The desk has been fully restored and is in excellent condition. It has been refinished with a UV and water protective lacquer.
