Theo Ruth Artifort sofa Model 115 in white velvet 1959, The Netherlands

A small and very comfortable sofa/settee Model 115 executed in a beautiful creamy white mohair, designed by Theo Ruth for Artifort, Holland, 1959. The sofa is recently reupholstered in a soft and comfortable white mohair fabric. The beech wooden frame features an elegant integrated beech back rest which contrasts beautifully with the white mohair. The back tilts slightly backward and seems to lean into the frame, inviting the sitter to recline, the characteristic flow and feel of a Ruth’s design which gives this sofa an amazing seating comfort. The piece is marked with manufacturers label and is in excellent condition.
