Willy Rizzo sideboard for Mario Sabot, Italy 1970s

A luxurious and extravagant sideboard by Willy Rizzo in glossy black laminated wood with great chrome details, produced by Mario Sabot, Italy early 1970s. Superb quality laminated wood. The inside and outside are finished with the glossy laminate as well as the backside, so it would be possible to place it freestanding in the room. Contains three drawers and three doors with shelving. Willy Rizzo was a highly acclaimed 1960s photographer when he decided to design furniture. From the late 1960s to 1980 his luxurious designs reflected his jet-set lifestyle using handmade opulent materials where no extravagance was spared.
