Lives and works in Breda, The Netherlands
“The Game of Life” could be the title of a classic movie, but it’s the main theme in everything Tamara Muller, [Wehe-den Hoorn, 1975], creates. In her impressive retrospective exhibition “Play” at the Drents Museum in 2021, she unveiled what she means by it. Her work is a Wonderland through which she moves like an Alice. Nothing is as it seems, everything is uncertain, but what constantly returns is her self-portrait.
She says about it: “It’s a cut-and-paste-theater about identity and human beings as survival machines, in which I play all the parts.
