A pair of Scandinavian lounge chairs by Eric Merthen, Sweden 1964

A pair of oak Scandinavian Modern Kadett lounge chairs designed by Eric Merthen for Swedish IRE AB Skyllingaryd, Sweden 1964.
This pair of light Scandinavian lounge chairs has been customized with a beautiful white faux fur upholstery. The high quality faux fur upholstery actually has two colors; a warm grey beneath the white surface. It provides depth to the fabric and a very soft feel. The white faux fur gives the chairs a beautiful light and “blonde” appearance, which would look really great in for example a room with lots of daylight.
The natural colored saddle leather sling webbing underneath the seats is clean and fully original. Lovely saddle leather details on the backside of the backrest.
The chairs are comfortable and are in very good condition.
