An impressive pair of Cubosfera table lamps designed by Alessandro Mendini for Fidenza Vitraria, Italy 1968.
Perhaps one of Alessandro Mendini’s most notable pieces, the Cubsofera table lamp is the perfect hybrid between art and design. The uniquely shaped heavy solid glass cube creates a frosted glass sphere on the inside, to result in this unique table lamp. The cube consists of two parts in which a half spherical recess creates the inner sphere. Inside two light bulbs. The glass cube is mounted on a metal plate to lift it from the surface. The lamps are rewired and in perfect condition.
