Cees Braakman cabinet CU07 for UMS Pastoe, The Netherlands 1958

Small cabinet CU07 designed by Cees Braakman for UMS Pastoe in 1958. This elegant cabinet from the Japanese series features a white formica flap, which can be used as a desk top. On the inside a very nice white wooden interior designed to store documents. Black integrated handles and a minimalist black metal base that are distinctively for the Japanese series. The teak veneer retained its original warm color and is not faded over the years. The condition of the cabinet is good with minor wear consistant with age and use.
