Dimitri Omersa baby rhino footstool, UK 1960

Really cute vintage baby rhinoceros designed by Dimitri Omersa for Ambercrombie & Fitch, UK, 1960s. From a collection of leather animals that were meant to be used as ottomans and foot stools. Also a great sculptural object. Age and nice patina to the brown leather. This cute little girl was loved so dearly she lost her little horn in the past. Fortunately she recovered because somebody took great care of her and she looks as happy as ever before. Her condition is sturdy, the stitching is tight and good. Overall light scuffs and abrasions to the leather.
