Beautiful GS-195 daybed sofa designed by Gianni Songia for Sormani, Italy, 1963. Very elegant and sculptural rosewood frame with a cognac leather upholstery. The back rest can be adjusted in two positions to use as a sofa or daybed and is working properly. The back rest creates an open feel and look. The fully restored rosewood frame is in very good condition and has a beautiful wood grain. The soft original cognac leather cushions on the seat and backrest all unzip and can be removed. Great quality detailed stitching all around. An iconic Mid Century piece in excellent condition.
