Early and rare pendant lamp designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Markaryd, Sweden, circa 1958.
Unlike the later copper-plated aluminium lamps from this designer, this is an early, heavy edition of the lamp, made of solid copper. The lamp is white lacquered on the inside. When lit, the lamp spreads a nice and warm glow. The lamp is rewired and comes with the original canopy that is also made of solid copper. Marked with an early manufacturers’ label inside the canopy. Comes with >300 cm wire, which can be adjusted to your preferred height. In very good condition, with only minor wear consistent with age and use.
