A teak daybed Model GE 19 designed by Hans Wegner for GETAMA, Denmark, 1956. This modern daybed made from teak and brass shows a beautiful contrast in materials. Solid teak is used for the legs and frame. The brass matress support bars on both sides are definitely the highlight and add a beautiful touch to the otherwise minimalist design. The daybed comes with a new mattress and roll pillow, upholstered with a high quality cognac leather with leather buttons. The underside reveals the solid wood frame and spring coils which provide support. It can be used in a variety of ways in virtually any modern environment.
