Serving cart designed by Henning Korch for C. F. Christensen A/S Møbelfabrik, Denmark 1960s.
The trolley is composed of three shelves; the middle one is smaller and is finished with black formica. On the bottom shelf, using the empty space next to the small shelf, liquor bottles can be stored. The rolling caster wheels make it possible to place the piece anywhere you like it in the room. The result is a practical, sturdy and quite large, spacious serving cart. The serving cart is exceptionally well made, showing skillful craftsmanship. A timeless and elegant piece.
The piece is marked with the trademark label of the manufacturer, C. F. Christensen A/S Møbelfabrik, as well as the model number.
In excellent condition.
Henning Korch specialized in the design of wooden furniture like storage and tables, retaining its focus on functionality, modern aesthetics and expression of expert craftsmanship. Cabinetmakers take the art of working with wood a step further, and focus on the finer details of what can be created with the material. Trough the skillfully carved edges, the use of the patterns in the rosewood grain you see the signature of a cabinetmaker in this piece.
