Henry Rosengren Hansen executive desk for Brande Møbelindustri 1960s

Henry Rosengren Hansen free standing executive desk designed for Brande Møbelfabrik, Denmark 1960s. This large executive size desk is a great example of the classic Danish Modern style and is characterized by its high quality of design, details and craftsmanship. The desk has a generous (W 180 cm) desktop and has elegant joinery details. The piece is handcrafted of fine wild grain imbuia and features a case of oak wood drawers with sculpted handles and dovetail joinery. The desk is raised on solid legs. The drawer case is finished on the backside which makes the piece suitable to be placed free standing in your space.
The desk has a rich patina and remains in good all original condition, with some traces of age and use.
