Italian modernist daybed 1950s

A beautiful Italian modernist daybed from the 1950s. We don’t know the designer of this exceptional and skillfully made daybed. It features a nicely detailed nine layer thick plywood frame (24mm) which provides a beautiful contrast with the sleek black enameled frame and cognac leather mattress. Very nice copper feet and refined black details. This daybed is in very good original condition and comes with a newly custom-made comfortable mattress and bolster in thick patinated cognac leather.
