High quality Danish Mid-Century Modern rosewood writing desk, designed by Kai Kristiansen for Preben Schou Andersen, circa 1955. On the front side six drawers, on the backside a storage compartment. Beautiful rosewood desk on centered sled base which give the desk an almost floating appearance. The drawers and legs have beautiful and refined wood joints. Desk top has a nice curved edge made of solid rosewood. Superb Danish craftsmanship and rich woodgrain. Recently professionally restored. In excellent condition.
