Pulpas Studio prototype sidetable Libellula from recycled PMMA, Spain 2020+

Designed by Pulpas Studio, a multi-awarded design team from South Spain, aiming to create functional objects as biophilic metaphors for a deep ecology. Libellula is a bespoke side table made of 100% recycled and recyclable PMMA with a removable 1 centimeter thick glass table top. It has been thermo-folded by hand using solar energy and its fluorescent color change depending on light condition from orange to pink. Without any aesthetic complex, its colorful transparency helps the piece blend in with its surroundings and having at the same time a disruptive presence.
The object is a final protoype of a limited edition series.
