Writing desk designed by Tijsseling for Tijsseling Nijkerk, The Netherlands, 1955. Small writing desk formerly at often mistakenly attributed to Cees Braakman for Pastoe. This Dutch writing desk from the 1960s embodies the minimalist style of the era. It features distinct elements like hairpin legs and three drawers.
The top and the rectangular shape standing on black hairpin legs create a sense of levitation and lightness. The desk is in good condition. The table top has some wear due to age and use.
